Martin Ødegaard: El Capitanø

Where Ødegaard has really improved over the last year and a bit is his leadership. He learned a lot from Xhaka. Feels like Xhaka may have been in his way a bit because Xhaka was the obvious leader on the pitch without being the captain, and now Martin feels freer. Ødegaard is no longer the quiet guy in the room.
Or maybe it has been Jorginho's influence if it has happened in the past year? ;)

Need to keep an eye out for similar signs, especially in the summer 2028 for the pattern from Madrid. They joined 7,5 years apart. MÖ10 & MØ10. It's like a myth.

Better start courting Mark O'Brien for succession planning.

Ødegaard is a lead by example type, nothing wrong with that either.

You could see when the players were huddled after coming out for the second half against Porto that Rice was the one giving the talk.

Good leadership combination really.

My assumption is that Ødegaard was so exhausted from all the pressing that he couldn't speak.
