Goal aside, this a constant theme of Artetas football. Individual brilliance from a Saka back heel and a Tierney cross with a right footed Pepe volley. It masks what actually goes on. Throwing away halves of football through impotence.

The full backs are not progressive in their passing at all. We never play the ball inside out of fear. Tierney particularly always passes back to Gabriel or Holding. The pass is always on inside between the lines.

Only Partey, Pepe, Auba, ESR and Saka look to make something happen. Everyone else is passive.

Also. Why do our players take so many touche on the ball. I counted us moving the ball along the back four. Both Gabriel and Holding had 5 touches.

Stop moaning for crying out loud Elneny is in midfield.

League is very weak
Ledley King was as good as Terry, Rio, Campbell, Vidic etc.

Wouldn’t even put Van Dijk in that group yet.

How is he doing?
Had what looked like his best game. Had a few errant touches but he was confident, and very good on the dribble. Got another good goal and had 2 other shots on target. He's really becoming a proper B2B player - just needs to have more responsibility in possession. He had 100% pass accuracy today.
