This was completely expected. Stadium fans barely bothered to boo and left early. There's nothing anywhere on the pitch. Defence bad. Midfield poor. Invisible forwards. Fans checked out. 19th in the table. 67 years since we lost our first three league matches. See you all for another record breaking moment. Dreadful and nothing to be hopeful about.

People left early? I didn't see it.

Just heard... Arsenal lose first two games without scoring a goal in each game.

First time in our history

No real surprise here. Good effort by the players, but we are a bit outclassed, positionally and managerially.

"A bit"? There's a shockingly big gap between Arsenal and Chelsea. They strolled past Arsenal without actually turning up seriously.

Nah not like this. You all are forgetting. We went toe to toe with these teams, we just couldn't score to save our lives.

Those games were literally us being counter attacked twice and that was it. There were very few times, right up until 2015 when everyone's pets (giroud, per, Coquelin) started infested the team that we were really a level below in those games.

Even then, barring Anfield and one or two pastings, it was never like this. We looked like Everton in a Merseyside derby out there today.

The expression “Men against boys” has been used to describe us in big matches for a while now. Chelski and Yanited have come to The Emirates a few times and swept us aside. At least today we didn’t go under and concede 4/5.

This should be eye opening as to where this club is at. Arsenal is so broken Chelsea don't even have to go into a serious gear, they're brushing Arsenal aside like a toothless midtable team. Actually, this is worthy of relegation.
We’re firmly in the third tier of the PL.

1A) City — always there
1B) Chelsea / Liverpool — there most years, huge trophy wins in recent years
2) United — no top 4 is a massive failure, not a shock if they challenge
3) Leicester, Sp**s, Arsenal, etc. — CL aspirants, EL participants

1B and 2 kind of fluid.

Arsenal Quotes

In 1997/98 we became English champions as I had set myself three missions to carry out which I felt were essential. One: to have an impact on the result and the team's playing style. Two: to foster the player's individual development. Three: to strengthen the structure of the club and enhance its global influence.
