Why do commentators keep mentioning the start of the season and how poor we were, our defence is almost completely different from the first 3 games.
Tbf even Gary acknowledged this at the start

I would like to see Nico and Saka switch wings, for this half.

ESR is too greedy at times. He should have really put Pepe through instead of taking a weak ass shot. These kind of situations are basic stuff as he had a lot of time on the ball and wasn't under any kind of pressure from opposition. Worrying signs as these is a reccuring theme with him these season.

Palace aren’t even playing or pressing particularly well to be on the front foot like this, we are just giving them the initiative for some reason. There’s no way we can play like this next half

Making Tyrick Mitchell look like Roberto Carlos ffs.

Arteta is absolutely dreadful. He’s been here nearly 2 years put us out of our misery
It really is just depressing football, it's even worse that we have to rely on individual quality but then these same players get thrown under the bus even though they have to pull something out the hat in this awful style.

It's crazy to think that the best pass by an Arsenal player came from Ramsdale breaking the lines.

That moment where Ødegaard was running through quick sand with the ball was depressing. He won't change anything though. It will be the same in the second half. I'd like to see a proper 4 3 3 with Saka at lcm and ESR left.

The fact that Ødegaard is playing the Xhaka role is a joke.

He has done this a lot this season. Forcing it and trying to add goals to his game instead of being the provider he should be.

We just gifting them possession it's not even funny we can't keep the ball despite having good players with ball.

I said it the OP that we'll nick a 1-0 win. Score early and Sit back and defend. Sounds like I was right.

Arsenal Quotes

This is a big moment of happiness...we waited a long time for this and the happiness is linked sometimes with the suffering, and the time that you have to wait....this was more important than all the other (trophies) we have twice won the double, but were not under pressure then like we were today.
