Bid for totti made

Where the hell would Totti play if he went to Chelski? There's no way a player like him can be on the bench. Would they change the shape of their midfield and put him in an attacking role behind the strikers or would they just put him upfront? He can probably even play on either wing but it's not his strongest position. I can see the bidders being Barcelona or Man U.

Totti's been really impressive this season. Haven't really been that impressed by him in previous seasons. There's no doubting Totti's ability but I think its unfortunate that Cassano doesn't get the credit he deserves coz he's now finally fulfilling his HUGE potential that Roma paid £20m for him when he was still a teenager.

I think they are funded by the government.

Actually have always quite admired Real for their football but disliked them for their galacticos approach and the benevolent Spanish governemnt suooprt makes them only a step above Chelski's Roma empire

I hope deep down that Totti stays at Roma, i may stand to be corrected but are they not the team he supported as a kid.be a shame to see his talent desert his own club for a few dollars more.I truly dont know which Arsenal players where Arsenal supporters as kids but wouldnt it be great if the Gerrards and Tottis of this world could extend a finger at the money men and stay with the teams they love, or is that a pipedream of loyalty from days gone bye.

I agree with you Kiwi. Seems as though money is more important than loyalty nowadays. There are some of those players out there still though, such as Gerrard. I definately dont see him playing anywhere else but in a Liverpool jersey. It would just be weird. Kinda like imagining Henry or Vieira in an opposing teams jersey. I never thought i'd see Beckham leave Man Utd, but i guess these things happen.

Arsenal Quotes

When we won the title on May 3-rd by beating Everton 4-0 as Tony Adams scored that iconic goal, we showed everyone and especially Manchester United that we could beat them. Thirteen days later, when we beat Newcastle 2-0 in the FA Cup final in the legendary Wembley Stadium, it was wonderful... I felt immensely proud for the team, for the club: this was the fantastic response I was able to give to those who had put their confidence in me, as well as those who had put me through all those difficult weeks when I first arrived.
