Great pick out for the first goal. Liked that even more than his goal. Starting to show more end product we badly need.

Stepped it up this week big time. Best he's played so far this season.

The way he plays, he's so much better on the right than the left.

If Pepe and Saka both start, would prefer Nico on the left...Pepe played pretty well on that side, the few games he played there last season.

I don't get this narrative. Saka has also had a lot of dominant performances on the left. One of his best games in the first team was at the Eithad in 20/21 season playing LW. Also he always showed end product, at least when it comes to creating chances. He led the team in assists last season and even in his first proper season of playing LB, LW and LCM he had the most assists of anyone on the team in that stretch. He is a versatile player who was out of form. He has been overplayed and over relied upon cause of the lack of veteran leadership in the team.

Plays better on the right, can tell he makes better decisions on the right when cutting/facing inside vs. the left wing where his play tends to be more one dimensional...

Please keep him on the right over Pepe!

He’s just good everywhere.

I can’t be bothered to prove it but it seems a lot of our good team performances happen when he’s on the RW but it’s nothing to actually do with him being on the RW if that makes sense. Like you said he’s had plenty of great performances on the left and the best I’ve ever seen him play was against Wolves in the first half when he was playing central. He cuts in very well from the left too, think people just see goals and don’t really analyse any deeper than that.

That stat of him with 15 g/a as a RW will eventually revert to the mean or his stats from other positions will rise to match that.

Think he is now the youngest ever player, to get a goal and assist in a North London derby match, beating Cesc from 2007 by a few months.

Slow start to the season or not, what a talent we have.

Really good battle with Burn tonight. Really impressed with his strength allowing him to brush Burn off the ball at times.

Hopefully his injury is nothing serious.

Not effective but he plays well in most games. He's getting stronger too abd I just wish ESR could have made that pass to him on the break.

Arsenal Quotes

I still have an interest in training and development, in the stages that make it possible for players first to acquire technique (between 7 and 12) and then to develop physically (between 12 and 16), then to deepen their mental resilience (between 17 and 19) and finally between 19 and 22 to acquire what is critical, like the roof of a house without which all the rest rots away: intelligence and motivation
