Absolutely brilliant from Leverkussen, this is historic. They need to finish the season perfect now.

But also watch how the English media makes this about Arsenal and bashing them in the coming days.

What's Arsenal got to do with it?

You can mention Emery's immediate effect in Birmingham if thats better. The point is that not all managers need several years and absurd money to make a team significantly better. But Teta needed that.

Auba has scored almost 30 goals this season btw. He is pissing on Jesus, Havertz and Nketiah (anyone remember him?).
How old are you?
Reading your posts and all BS you usually spout, I would say 9.
Because if you are grown person, and not completely ignorant, you would know that Emery WAS at Arsenal.
What was his effect then, do you remember?

Do you remember Europa league final 2019. and how Emery's Arsenal played in that final against Chelsea?
And what was final score?
In 2019. Emery had 10 years of experience as manager.

Arteta played more-less same squad (with Emery's players, as many "experts" on this forum like you like to point out) 15 months later in another final, against same opponent, Chelsea.
And what was final score then?
And in semi they played 115 FC. Arteta was rookie then, with 7 months of experience as manager (with COVID outbreak included).

Arsenal's main rival this season is 115 FC (and Liverpool), Villa's main rival this season is Sp**s.
If you don't see difference, well than nobody can't help you.

Auba?
Who cares how many goals he scores now in France. He actually scored 27 this season in all competitions.
In his 2 seasons under Arteta he scored 39 in all competitions. In stronger league than Ligue 1.
And he left Arsenal because of his unprofessional behaviour.
So, what is the point of mentioning Auba now?

You can’t bring up that FA Cup win then turn around and say ‘what’s the point of mentioning Auba now’ since he was one of the main reasons we won it. Haven’t won any trophies since then.

I asked him why he mentioned Auba now.
Auba was good under Arteta, and Arteta was the one of the people who gave Auba new contract in September 2020.
After that, Auba's form (and ArsenaI's also) fell off the cliff. And Auba left.
We all know why he left, it wasn't Arteta's whim.
My point is, why he brought it up again?

⚫️ Bayer Leverkusen’s late goals this season.

⏰ 90+4 vs Bayern
⏰ 90+4 vs Qarabag
⏰ 90+4 vs Augsburg
⏰ 90+1 vs Leipzig
⏰ 90+1 vs Stuttgart
⏰ 90+2 vs Qarabag
⏰ 90+3 & 90+7 vs Qarabag
⏰ 90+1 vs Hoffenheim
⏰ 90+7 vs Dortmund
⏰ 90+7 vs Stuttgart
⏰ 90+7 vs AS Roma

Magic.

Btw., "experts" who make comparisons between Arteta and Xabi.
It's pointless.

If you compare any great manager, let alone Arteta, in his first 18 months at job, with Xabi, Xabi looks superior.
Maybe only Guardiola, but even he wasn't invincible in his first 18 months as manager of Barcelona's first squad.

Will be an absolutely fantastic achievement from Leverkusen if they can do it now, one of the best seasons of all time.

But don't let that devalue in anyway what we did in.2004, going a full season (49 games in total) undefeated in the Premier League was something special... Ferguson, Mourinho and Pep never did that with all their money...only Wenger did!

Why bring up the Europa and FA cup finals?
