But is an Isak signing really on the cards? He has a long term contract, and is probably the last player Newcastle would consider to sell.
We dropped 100m (or there abouts) on Rice so why not?

We're at the point where we have a very strong first XI and a manager that doesn't trust his backups. Priority should be replacing the weakest starting points (CF and LB) and using players who drop out as the backup.

Not sure they'd sell, even at that price. Ramsdale could perhaps be used as part of such a deal.

We're competing for a title and Gunnerblog is shamelessly making up rumours about one of our players.

If Ornstein isn't involved just ignore this waffler.

If he didn't, somebody would have frontrun him and took his exclusive.

Last time Arteta emphatically denied an exit before/during summer that player stayed. Furthermore, I don't know how Jesus gets a transfer right after knee surgery.

Think it's just wishful thinking from Gunnerblog and those eager to see an upgrade.

We really should keep Jesus as a squad player at least. He had a rough season but if he can shake off the knee issue he's still a solid asset who can play across the front three.

We can't sell him for top money anyway. There's a bunch of players who should leave to free up a squad space before him.

While Edu won’t be discussing players on this trip to Saudi there will be plenty of talk about Grape Juice and Toilet Paper.

Who would sign Jesus on his wages and the sort of transfer fee we're demanding? I think he'll play out this contract with us, and we just have to hope he can get back to where he was when we signed him or as close as possible.

Maybe PSG or Barca abroad. Within EPL, there will be some suitors such as Villa, Newcastle, West Ham, ...

However keep him, he is not a problem. Nketiah, Nelson, Vieira, ESR, ... are a problem as we need to improve on these players. Jesus is an excellent option to have as CF/LW/RW sub.

The English codified the rules of football just as the French perfected wine. We don't often ask an English person to come over to make Bordeaux.
