Was the Arsenal fanbase too hard on Giroud - France's all time leading goalscorer?

If you look at the sparkling career that he’s gone on to have since leaving us do any of you regret your almost bizarre obsession with him?

Seems like out of all the players we’ve moved on the problem might have been the club rather than him…

Great question, I still cry myself to sleep about him not being here anymore. Like seeing the ex that you know was the love of your life but you ****ed it, and now she's married with some rich idiot, has children who are perfect and you know you should've been their dad, and she's just a beautiful as ever.

Will never feel okay.

I would say Giroud is a better striker than Higuain, tbh.

In hindsight I am glad we got priced out of a move for Higgy (don't think he would have done much here) and got Özil instead that summer.

I’ve tried to withdraw the nostalgia merchant gene in him several times, like in the movie The Exorsist

What if the nostalgia devil then possesses you also like in the movie The Exorcist? I wouldn’t wish that on my worst enemy.

Perhaps some righteous fights just aren’t worth the price. May @Riou find deliverance from this evil.

I thought he was a good striker but should have been a rotational player and not a guaranteed starter for us. I guess coming here after Henry and then Van Persie set the bar pretty high and he wasn't near that for me. So for me it's a ''no''. He's had a great career though, he's certainly made the absolute most out of his talent so credit to the guy.
