I don't see why we need to buy anyone (other than perhaps a striker), we are top of the league are we not? Have we lost any games in the league?

Wenger doesn't want to sell in January, so he won't. Wilturd is a dead duck but we'll have to wait until the summer to see him go. There's no way anyone will pay money for him now when they can get him for nothing in June. Bergkamp may get another year. Kanu - who knows? When does his contract expire?

Gio is a peculiar one. If Barca offer decent money for him (£4m, say), we've gotta think about letting him go. However, if a year of first team football in Spain, he may have toughened up and be able to excel in the premiership. there's no wat of telling until we bring him back and give him a run in the side. is it worth the hassle, or should we just cut our losses?

Volz has got to come back and be given a go in the first team - he has been quality every time i've seen him play.

Annoying thing with Gio is that he has been played at LB.

Franny Jeffers - will Everton even want him?

Arsenal Quotes

When we won the title on May 3-rd by beating Everton 4-0 as Tony Adams scored that iconic goal, we showed everyone and especially Manchester United that we could beat them. Thirteen days later, when we beat Newcastle 2-0 in the FA Cup final in the legendary Wembley Stadium, it was wonderful... I felt immensely proud for the team, for the club: this was the fantastic response I was able to give to those who had put their confidence in me, as well as those who had put me through all those difficult weeks when I first arrived.
