1A) City — always there
1B) Chelsea / Liverpool — there most years, huge trophy wins in recent years
2) United — no top 4 is a massive failure, not a shock if they challenge
3) Leicester, Sp**s, Arsenal, etc. — CL aspirants, EL participants

1B and 2 kind of fluid.

I didn't see a team that's compareable to even Leicester or Sp**s. This today was a team that if things go well finishes around 10th and if things go bad they go into a downward spiral and fight relegation (see Schalke as a comparison).
