No. We've been down this road before, extending contracts to protect the value of players who honestly have no real value. Serious questions-do you think we will ever sell Xhaka for at least £15m? Do you think Chambers will sell for £20m? Do you think we'll make a profit on Leno? We are no longer anywhere bear being one of the biggest clubs so Arteta will have yo learn to work with a bit less than he would like.

Arteta, Per Mer etc were average players that Wenger brought into this club and they are working at the club now.
Wenger defended and covered the Kroenke's over the years saying he has their backing which was not the case (not even one bad word about them).
He refused to leave in time, should've left around 2015-2016, and wasted opportunities to bring top managers (Klopp for instance).
Wenger is possibly one of the people who recommended Arteta to the board.

We can’t sell them now so let’s extend their contracts and try selling them next year? That doesn’t work when the player is sh1t and only capable of getting worse.

How did we spend almost 200m, sign many players, have all those matches and various tactical sessions, win an FA Cup and have three years go by and we STILL blame Wenger.
