He is, he’ll improve them beyond this level and beyond Conte, Mourinho and Potch.

Queation is, will he make them an elite team. I don’t think he can.
We all have kinks. Yours is vastly overrating the newest managerial failure of one of our rivals. This is exactly the stage you were at with 7 Hag this time last year.

He is not better than these managers. What drug are you on?

He had some benefits earlier in the season because nobody on the earth knew who he was. Why do you think nobody knew about him? Because he has had an awful career. Conte and Mourinho and even fatty Potch smoke him easily.

No, you’re wrong about Ange and him being a limited coach.

Potch is playing the same basic tactics from his time at Sp**s, with some tactical positional flexibility to create space for his base system. But the philosophy is the same hence him looking so outdated.

Same with Conte and Mourinho, their systems are static and once you understand it’s fundamentals, you shut them down. They also need specific players playing specific roles almost all the time.

Ange plays more dynamic ball than all of them, better build up patterns, better ways of finding space with in game movements, even better pressing structures. Hence he will make them more troublesome to deal with.

The problem for Ange is that he needs to bring more balance. Just having fast, technical players who can run all game and hold the ball is not gonna be enough for him.

He is not in a situation where he has the best tactics, fittest players, and/or best players available. He needs to improve his defensive game beyond high pressing and running all game.

They are both good coaches mate, the problem is the PL and CL are another level and the margin for errors are very small.

The areas where I do **** on them are when they make clear mistakes, like Ange and his high line (he calls it teaching Angeball), and Ten Hag with his lack of compactness.

Both Ten Hag and Ange will go back to the leagues they’ve come from and kill it once again.

There was some interview where Ange was asked what he does when Plan A isn't working, his answer was " Play Plan A better"

He's one of the most one dimensional coaches in the PL.

He's a good motivator etc but his type of management has a ceiling in the PL.

Quite the claim seeing as the man has more sides than a Hexagon.

He got ridiculed on Talksport after he'd been asked what he learned from today's game, and all he could say to appease the travelling supporters was: "a lot."

You must have a roo loose in the top paddock, mate.

Arsenal Quotes

I still have an interest in training and development, in the stages that make it possible for players first to acquire technique (between 7 and 12) and then to develop physically (between 12 and 16), then to deepen their mental resilience (between 17 and 19) and finally between 19 and 22 to acquire what is critical, like the roof of a house without which all the rest rots away: intelligence and motivation
