Walcott was playing regularly for Southampton in the Championship before we bought him, so a lot of people including myself have seen quite a bit of Walcott. And not to mention the kid has been dubbed the next big thing for a long time. Adu is playing in a league, which would have a similar if not lower standard of football. Compare this to Walcott who was up against seasoned professionals in a style of football which is one of the toughest in the world. Adu may well have talent, but is simply massivly over rated.

Okay. And what exactly has Theo done in the Championship that Adu hasn't done in the MLS?

I was a little shocked to read on ESPN.com that Adu's 40 yard time is "only" 4.6 seconds. Much, Much, faster than I can run of course but much slower than a top running-back in the NFL (and I presume someone like Henry, or Walcott).

Also his inabiltiy to lockdown a spot in the starting 11 at DC United is a bit disappointing considering all the hype. What's worse though is the fact that he *****ed about it publicly and refused to play in the MLS playoffs last year...that kinda thing isn't acceptable in an arsenal player.

Isnt he a bit small, he is only like 5'8, and if he hasnt got speed like someone like SWP how does he expect to make it in a big league. There is no way he would be able to make a fool out of an establishe defender like Kolo
