Absolutely no one except Pep has really tried it at the top level for ages.
Pep has spent 1,5 billion or so and with all his class has failed to win a single CL.
He also had Aguero and Jesus for most of his time playing as real strikers.
Yeah, he's being a ****, he has enough players. Time for him to step up, do some work himself to get them to winning.

He has Braithwaite and Greizmann and Depay, a stacked squad and a bankrupt club that's asked players to take a 50% wage cut. No excuse for more signings.
The club is bankrupt asking players to take wage cuts. I don't see how they justify it. A good manager would make that squad sing, especially since RM is in a rebuild, and AM is in decline.

No idea about strikers, but there seem to be 1-2 good ones from reports.
They currently seem to have many many big midfield talents again + the obvious Fati wonderboy that many seem to have forgotten a bit just because he got that big injury.

Laca for Emerson or Dest would make a lot of sense to me. Solves an immediate problem area, and allows us to freshen up the squad elsewhere with the money we would've spent on RB.
