I don't think a lot thought that much of Martinelli. No issue with this signing, not a lot of money, give him a season or two on loan to see how he develops...
He's already 23, my dude. No point in loaning him until he's 25.

He doesn't have a work permit in his locker though - if true that he can't join until December this would make no sense
He doesn't need one because the rules have changed.

Thought i'd watch the Gremio v Flamengo game in the brazil cup to catch a glimpse of this guy before our firendly against Barca. He looks OK. Nothing spectacular from him. He's playing RW in this game. Flamengo have just gone 2-0 up. Seems an odd signing so I wonder if he could be replacing someone on the way out?
