He's a experienced pro,not massive wages and can do a job in some games and as a sub. Not fussed about him having another season as backup.

I thought so when it looked like he would be injured for a large part of the season, but if he's fit in preseason he couldve easily secured a new contract elsewhere. Paying him millions for a few
appearances a year for 7 years is decent enough.

We've never taken the opportunity to sell him when presented to us, why would we do it now when his stock has never been lower?

50k/week is not small wages either when we have might have three players ahead of him soon.

Anyway, lets hope someone offers a nominal fee.
