he acting like there 10 clubs want him. Saudi and Besiktas he rejected now honestly how you can blame edu when these players just don't wanna go.
Bro stop hating every Arteta-discarded player when they're well within their rights not to want to join Bumsiktas just because our manager destroyed their value form and confidence.

Would be like me complaining about you after stepping down as a mod not leaving to join Reddit Arsenal or Onlinegoobers.

Meh, sounds like Pepe has pretty much given up on his career and is just going to take the money this season.

His choice, but if he doesn't have much respect for his own playing career neither should we. Tell him if he's still here come September he'll be training alone and won't be considered for any matchday squads in any tournaments.

Cedric needs to be told that too.

It's harsh but needs doing.

Yep, but the spoilt manager is set in his way. Pepe is better than Nelson. Knowing Arteta saka will just play every game until he breaks down
Pepe is technically better than Nelson without a shadow of a doubt but which one of them is more likely to lose concentration, display a lack of commitment, or lack the required discipline when our team doesn't have possession?

Yeah & you also have Nuno rejecting a move to Forest apparently?

Cedric 100% needs to be told he's not wanted here, or just tear his contract up infront of him and send him on his way.
Pepe, on the other hand, is a frustrating one because theres a quality player there, he's had some really good games for us. Obviously Arteta doesn't want him, but i'd rather have Pepe on the bench than Nelson.

Maybe

You're wrong, no?

I think the club prefers younger and hungry players to players like Pepe/Cedric who have given up on football. In that case, Nelson wins his place over him

No way Pepe is a technically better player. Nelson's technical ability is elite. He lacks other attributes, but he simply does not lose the ball. Pepe on the other hand is hit and miss

I’m hoping the news of Pepe as rotation/competition for Saka is true. Tears in my eyes stuff.

Would save money, have cover upfront and be able to invest in other areas while we wait for Toney/Osimhen/Isak/Mbappe/Ferguson next season.

So many extremes around this guy - don’t get your argument @jones it’s just a different extreme to the one where it’s all Pepe’s fault

Club could have done more to boost his fragile confidence but that’s also what loans are intended to do and he didn’t exactly set the world alight.

At this late stage happy enough to have him as cover. IF Arteta and Pepe are willing to work together at least will offer something different and unpredictable. If two of Holding/Tierney/Taveres leave we have bigger gaps to fill
