Angry & Miserable
Thinking of the 2003 match again, that must have been one of Van Bronckhorst's last games for Arsenal...there was an unlucky player.

Was top quality for Rangers, then we he finally stated to find his best form for us, he got a horrible injury which forced him to miss the second half of the 2001/2002 season and the start of the 2002/2003 one, which forced him down the pecking order...very happy we got Gilberto, but Gio was super unlucky with the timing of his injury...I remember him scoring a brilliant goal in a win over Chelsea for us, great left foot, could play a good few roles too...was very good for that great Barca side too.
I was really excited about the prospect of Gio and Vieira.

Wenger rarely played him at CM though, before and after his injury.

So any bets for Arteta dropping our Balogun to never see him again now that Balogun has scored against us?

Because that'd make as much sense as some of his other decisions.

Arsenal Quotes

Robert Pirès was a fabulous player, world-class, and for a few years, before his injury, he was unquestionably the best left-midfielder in the world by far. He had incredible technique, he was smart, a finisher. He was a killer with a smile, the gentlest man in the world who suddenly drive the ball exactly where it was needed.
