So you've finally given up on you charade of defending Arteta's justification here.Yawn.
Thought that would never come.

Thanks for admitting it was a charade. No I'm just bored saying the same things over and over.
I don't care, I wish them the best... I don't like ex players to suck in their life only to say... Arteta was right Saliba didn't make it. If they look like fools let him go it's their problem. I wish them good and hope they have great careers. Saliba deserves it.Would you like another Gnabry situation? I certainly wouldn't.
Anyone who watches ligue 1, including myself, can see his talent. Makes some mistakes but has all the attributes u want for a CB. Might not be a starting player for Arsenal yet but he is ready to contribute. There are a few Brighton bloggers who watch a lot of ligue 1, who are perplexed why we are going in for White given we have Saliba already.Edu and Arteta didn't sign the bloke. We've never seen him play, he might be a terrible fit for the league. Nobody knows but everyone just wants to bash those currently involved. Does my swede in.
Say Saliba gets injured next season and only plays 20-25 games.
He will need a 4th loan then?
More loans than QuickQuid.
Isn't this what you swore would happen this season?I think the plan is to integrate White this season and then Saliba will get his chance next to White and fight for the place with Gabriel.
Like Ferguson did with Ferdinand? Or Chelsea with Terry? Or like we did with Kolo?If you have a player (especially a defender) with massive potential who isn’t quite ready for the first team yet, then you loan them out to the best club that will consider him a starter.
Better they play 35-40 games over the season instead of keeping him at the club playing 10-15 games. They will develop a lot faster that way.
If you throw him in to too many games at this level too early then you risk ruining them. Mistakes are magnified, media pressure, and especially at this club where fan pressure/scrutinising/treatment of players is embarrassing at times.
You just know the same ones pushing for him to play now will be the first ones to turn on him and demand he’s shipped out as “deadwood” after a couple of clangers.
Look at fans/media treatment of Stones/Maguire as a good example. Pushed to a higher level than maybe they were ready for, suffered, and got absolutely torn to shreds by fans. Luckily they’ve come through it thanks to the patience and persistence of their coaches. Same fans cheering them on this summer who were calling them trash throughout the last few seasons, as they had an excellent tournament. Finally feeling like they’ve come of age and ironed-out their issues, at the ripe old ages of 27 and 28.
This is the happiest picture of him they could find
